Compulsory BCLS
It is mandatory for dentists registered with the Singapore Dental Council to have a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for the renewal of their practising certificate. The attendance for BCLS will also be considered as a core Continuing Professional Education activity from 1 Oct 2009 onwards.
Requests for exemption will have to be supported by a medical report.

To submit your BCLS certification, please make a copy of the front and back of your BCLS certificate card indicating your DCR number on the copy and send it to SDC via fax at 6253 3185 or scan and email to enquiries@dentalcouncil.gov.sg.
