The Joint Committee on Specialist Training (JCST) is appointed by the Specialist Accreditation Board to oversee the accreditation of training departments and institutions in Singapore as well as the specialist training which is administered by the 35 different Specialist Training Committees (STCs).  The JCST is responsible for establishing and upholding the professional standards and quality of specialist training in Singapore including the evaluation of trainees' training and exit examinations.

It consists of an Executive Committee whose membership includes representatives from the National University of Singapore and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.  The JCST Executive Committee is co-chaired by the Director of Division of Graduate Medical Studies, National University of Singapore and the Master of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
