Nursing Research Funding

MOH Nursing Research Committee obtains block research grants from the National Medical Research Council to set up and maintain resources for nursing research and to finance nursing research projects. It also funds CPG development activities and research training activities. For FY2009, the budget would only support existing commitments:

MOHNRC Grant for Nursing Research  - Call for Outline Proposals

The MOH Nursing Research Committee wishes to invite outline proposals for nurse-led research grants. Once short-listed, applicants will be invited to submit their full proposal. Each grant shall not exceed $20,000. The timeline of the call is as follows:

Application Outcome: (A) Outline proposal: successful applicants will be invited to submit full proposals (B) Full proposal: award grant to successful applicants	1 May 2009
(A) Deadline for submission of full proposal	12 Jun 2009
(A) Application Outcome	26 Jun 2009

*A full proposal should include IRB/DSRB approval. For studies conducted at the clusters institutions, the final copy of the completed IRB/DSRB application form can be submitted as the full proposal.
**There will be a 2nd call for proposal if there is any funding balance after 1st round of grant award. 

Only successful applicants will be invited to submit their full proposals.

The outline proposals (format as attached) must reach MOHNRC before 15 April 2009. Please submit one soft copy via email to serena_lee@moh.gov.sg and one hard copy through the Head of Department, to:
